Loading/Unloading and Cleaning

In a job which has become routine, our associate company in Malaysia, Innovative Solutions and Technologies Sdn Bhd completes a reactor catalyst changeout at an Oleo-Chemicals plant. In the space of 3 days the reactor is opened, the spent catalyst removed, and the new catalyst loaded. The client appreciates the fast turnround which allows them to maintain production targets.

Compacted catalyst is broken up and removed using high pressure water jetting. It’s a difficult, dirty job, requiring round-the-clock working to reinstate the reactor in the shortest possible time.

Using high volume vacuum units capable of lifting 25 metres vertically, the catalyst is sucked from the tubes and retained in collection bins for disposal.
