Heat Exchanger Tubes

External and internal cleaning of tube bundles is an essential part of any maintenance programme. High Pressure water jetting offers a safe method of removing even the hardest scale, rendering a smooth finish and eliminating scale build-up which reduces flow ( increased pressure differential), and effects the efficiency of the heat exchange process. Mechanical cleaning using rods can leave deposits which encourage the recurrence of scale and may score and damage the tubes severely reducing the life of the unit. High pressure water will only remove scaling, leaving a clean metal surface for effective heat transfer.

Use of specially designed nozzles and lances allows for effective cleaning of tubes from 12mm up to 200mm in diameter. Deposits such as carbon, polyeurathane and hard calciate scalings can be removed. Flexible lances are used to thoroughly clean "U" tubes down to a 100mm bend radius.
