UNDERWATER SILT REMOVAL
Snark jetpump technology has the ability to create a vacuum that discharges 4 times the volume of the inlet flow thus creating efficiencies that water blasting cannot offer.
With the ability to control the discharge location the Snark system offers a horizontal, downstream discharge where there is zero loss of visibility, thus again eliminating down time and increasing productivity per dive.
From the initial stages of design and fabrication to final operation, a fully comprehensive dredging system can be provided.
The Snark systems enable debris and sediment to be cleared from a variety of submerged structures, from harbours to oilfields.
A comprehensive range of standard equipment is available, including the Snark Diver hand held or ROV operable dredge system and the Mini Snark ROV mounted system.
SNARK SUCTION DREDGING SYSTEMS
The unique Snark System uses a high volume stream of water to suck silt and debris from the base of a tank or inlet basin.
The Snark can be formatted to fit through a 12” manway to lift silt and debris to a receiving bin up to 12 metres above the suction nozzle.
The resulting silt can be retained in holding bins with filtered outlets.The system is powered by high volume pumps producing pressures up to 360 P.S.I. at 580 G.P.M.
No moving parts means that the Snark can deal effectively with silt, stones and plastic without damage.
